About Our Department

Pioneering genetic medicine since 1993

The Department of Genetic Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College stands at the intersection of discovery and patient care. Our faculty — internationally recognized geneticists, molecular biologists, and genetic counselors — work side by side to translate breakthroughs from the lab into real answers for patients.

Based on the Upper East Side campus in Manhattan, we serve patients from across the tri-state area and beyond, offering comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, inherited cancer risk assessments, and personalized treatment strategies grounded in each person's unique genetic profile.
